Our Guarantee

It is our greatest hope that all of our passengers enjoy the time they spend with us. Our aim is to provide an interesting and informative tour of our bay and their inhabitants. A combination of our local knowledge, experience, educated guesswork, and luck allows most of our guests a chance to see wildlife, however unpredictability is a part of our business. If your expectations exceed these natural limitations, then perhaps you should reconsider wildlife viewing in a natural setting. The animals we watch are WILD, therefore we cannot guarantee sightings on 100% of our trips. However, on any trip that does not sight the specific animal we’re targeting, we will issue our passengers a “RETRIP VOUCHER”. These guarantees have NO EXPIRY DATE and will be reissued as many times as it takes for you to sight the animal you were looking for.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A MONEY BACK GUARANTEE AND IS GOOD ONLY FOR THE PASSENGERS NAMED ON THE TICKET.

Please accept this guarantee as a token of our goodwill and with our sincere desire to have you join us again!

VESSELS & CREW

Ocean Safaris prides itself on having the right vessels for the job at hand.  Our larger vessel, “Fatboy” (local nickname for a Southern Right Whale), is a custom built 35 foot twin-hull boat, powered by two 200hp outboard motors.  She has a comfortable 30 passenger seating configuration with sufficient space on deck for all passengers to view the animals we encounter.  The vessel is manned by a qualified passenger-vessel skipper and experienced guide.  Safety features include two life rafts VHF Radio and GPS navigation.  This vessel is used for groups exceeding 12 passengers.

Groups of 12 or less are catered for on our 25 foot catamaran, “Dolphin”, powered by two 100hp outboards.  Passengers are seated 3 abreast in four rows, with ample room on the deck for all to get a view of the animals.  A qualified skipper is your guide on the trips.  Standard safety features include VHF Radio and GPS navigation.  All passengers are required to wear the lifejackets supplied for the duration of the trip.
There is adequate space on our vessels for each passenger to bring a bag and/or camera bag.  Please bear in mind that any equipment taken aboard is at your own risk.
